Nikkei at it again
Update: Nintendo has denied the rumour. Japanese newspaper Nikkei — which has proven right about Nintendo rumours on many occasions — is reporting we'll see a new 3DS model announced tomorrow. The paper claims we'll see a 3DS redesign boasting a 4.3 inch screen, approximately 1.5 times larger than the current machine. Nikkei claims we could see the machine released as early as this summer. Do you think we'll see a big 3DS tomorrow?Rumour: Wii U Price Reveal Coming Tomorrow
19:00 at nintendolife.com
Wallets at the ready
Nintendo has said that the Wii U release date and price announcements will come after E3, but Japanese newspaper Nikkei (via Andriasang) believes we could hear as soon as tomorrow. The paper — which has a proven track record in getting this information right — claims the machine will sell for 30,000 Yen. That's around £249, $383 or €306. Nikkei also claims Wii U will play host to plenty of non-gaming content, including a car navigator, digital books and a karaoke service. We're not quite sure what a car navigator means, particularly considering the GamePad needs to be near the console to function, but if it's true we'll hear more soon. What do you make of this potential Wii U price, and do you think we'll hear a price announcement tomorrow?Splinter Cell: Blacklist Gets Kinect Voice Commands

Out next year
Ubisoft's next Sam Fisher game, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, is coming to Xbox 360 with Kinect voice commands in early 2013. The game has a new cover system and looks more like a third person shooter than the stealthy sneaking we've come to expect from Splinter Cell. With Kinect you'll be able to shout commands and have Mr Fisher react accordingly, lobbing grenades and so on. It's out early next year.Chasing Aurora Announced for Wii U eShop

From the makers of And Yet It Moves
Broken Rules — the team behind WiiWare gem And Yet It Moves — has just confirmed Chasing Aurora is coming to the Wii U eShop in late 2012. The game aims to recreate the sensation of flight using the Wii U GamePad, with a single player story mode told without dialogue. This puts us in mind of SEGA Saturn classic NiGHTS into Dreams, which has one of our number very excited indeed. Here's the latest gameplay trailer, with concept art right below. 13:45 at nintendolife.com
With care
Gearbox Studios has revealed development work on Aliens: Colonial Marines for Wii U is being handled by Demiurge Studios. Demiurge, the team behind Shoot Many Robots on PSN, spent nine months creating a prototype of the game before being given development duties. Gearbox is also collaborating with Texan studios Nerve and Timegate, but 80% of development work will be handled in-house by Gearbox. By all accounts Aliens: Colonial Marines won't be playable on Wii U at this year's E3, but hopefully we'll at least get some new details. Stay tuned.13:30 at twitter.com
Sine Mora is coming to Vita. That's rather good news.
