Iwata: Zelda on Wii U Won’t Look Cheap

Rolling out the barrel

We all know The Legend of Zelda will come to Wii U, but whether it'll look as good as the Zelda HD Experience from E3 is another matter. Nintendo knows it has to deliver on the graphical front though, as president Satoru Iwata told investors.

Nintendo Download: 2nd February 2012 (Europe)

Buy Kid Icarus

If you didn't register two 3DS games to get your free download code for Pit's remastered adventure, you can save yourself a heck of a lot of money by picking it up this week for €6. Here's the European download for this week.

3DS Download Software

3D Classics: Kid Icarus (Nintendo, €6/£5.40) — Pit's very first outing gets a new lick of paint courtesy of the 3D Classics range. It's as good as it ever was, as our 3D Classics: Kid Icarus review should explain, and it's available to buy from this Thursday.

eShop Addition

Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon (Nintendo, €5/£4.50) — Pinball Pulse has been available to DSi owners since 2009 but this is the first time it's joined the 3DS eShop, which is pretty cool. Developed by Fuse Games of Metroid Prime Pinball fame, leaf through our Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon review to see if this is worth adding to your 3DS menu.

DSiWare

Castle Conqueror — Against (CIRCLE Entertainment, 200pts) — The CIRCLE game continues this week as Against joins the DSiWare line-up. Check out our Castle Conqueror — Against review for the full details.

WiiWare

TNT Racers (dtp Entertainment, 1000pts) — Another pulled from the dusty files of "WiiWare: Missing, Presumed Dead", TNT Racers is a multiplayer racing game that has some stiff competition. We'll see how it fares in our upcoming review.

Nintendo Video

The Magic Piano — The Magic Piano tells the story of Anna, a girl whose father has to leave their native Poland and look for work in London. Anna misses her father terribly and sets out to find him, closely followed by her annoying cousin Chip Chip. While trying to hide from her cousin in a garbage pile, the kids find a broken piano that magically transforms into a flying machine and they are whisked off on an adventure across Europe.
