Back in the day, Rockstar San Diego — best known for Red Dead Redemption of course — was Angel Studios, a work-for-hire developer responsible for the N64 port of Resident Evil 2 among other games. What you may not know was the studio had an internal division known as Dream Team that once worked on an unreleased N64 game with none other than Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto.

Box Pusher (GameOn, 500pts) — Push blocks around in single or local multiplayer modes. There's a level creator which might help extend the game's lifespan, so we'll dive in and see what's what with our upcoming review.

Sami Cetin Sets New Super Mario Kart World Record

Yes, another one

Super Mario Kart player extraordinaire Sami Cetin has just set another world record on the classic 1992 16-bit racer.

At GEEK 2012 and using the PAL version, Cetin completed a time trial on Rainbow Road in just 1:26.64, only milliseconds quicker than the previous best of 1:26.68, set by Guillaume Leviach less than five days ago. Bet Guillaume's less than happy right now.

Cetin now holds eight Super Mario Kart world records, some way behind SMK top banana Karel van Duijvenboden with a huge 20 world record times.
