Giant AR card approaches
Club Nintendo coins burning a hole in the brick you use to store them? Want to set them free but don't fancy bashing your head in? You need a new reward, then. You can now choose from a Metroid: Other M screensaver, a set of three posters charting the history of Donkey Kong or, best of all, a giant double-sided AR card for the 3DS. First paid Kinect app lands
Kinect Fun Labs has been out for a while, and is free to all Xbox Live members. Avatar Kinect came out today, and is free too, though you need an Xbox Live Gold account to use it. On Thursday, Microsoft launches Kinect Sparkler for 240 Microsoft Points.

Acting on Impulse?
US firm Impulse Technology has filed a lawsuit against Microsoft, alleging Kinect for Xbox 360 infringes on seven Impulse patents. The plaintiff wants a permanent injunction against Microsoft — which would necessitate an internal redesign of Kinect — as well as damages and "treble damages", which just sounds greedy, really.

The 3DS remake of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has gone down pretty well, but there are plenty of gamers for whom Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is the superior game and more deserving of a 3D update. Perhaps if those people are vocal enough, their wish may come true.
