In January, Nintendo did something unusual: it accidentally released a video game. A small number of copies of DS football RPG Inazuma Eleven from Level-5 deftly dodged the tackles of Nintendo's distribution system and scored a few goals with customers before Nintendo blew the half-time whistle and the error was corrected. We first heard of this truly unlikely collaboration back at E3: Deepak Chopra, author of nearly 60 books on spirituality and meditation, is working with THQ, a publisher known for calm, measured games like Saints Row and Homefront. The fruit of this bizarre team-up is Deepak Chopra's Leela, an "interactive journey of the mind and body" for Kinect, due out in November.
