New ideas unfold
The Wii U controller is brand new, but as the machine will interface with all existing Wii accessories and games Nintendo has wisely chosen to show off the controller's possibilities with what it could bring to Wii software. No gameplay though
SEGA's Rise of Nightmares is just one of the hardcore games coming to Kinect later this year, and in case you haven't caught the game's E3 2011 trailer yet here it is.
Lurking in the shadows
One of the many third-party Wii U games shown off at E3 was SEGA's Aliens: Colonial Marines, with the company announcing the game is being 'considered' for the next Nintendo console.

Yesterday's developer roundtable gave some interesting nuggets of information, with Shigeru Miyamoto confirming that Pikmin 3 will now launch on the company's new Wii U console, skipping Wii all together.
