In its efforts to get everyone playing Killzone 3 before it's available to buy, Sony's set to launch an open beta for the game next week, complete with 3DTV and PlayStation Move support.

What goes bump in the dark?
It's Dead Space overload this week, with Dead Space 2 landing on PlayStation 3 and the Move-enabled Dead Space: Extraction available to buy twice: once in the Dead Space 2: Limited Edition, and for download via PlayStation Network.
Eyes-on with a whole lot of titles
Regrettably not all the best-looking titles at the Discover 3DS event were available to play, with many games only visible in rolling footage. We spent plenty of time touring the cinematic areas of the events in Europe and New York to see how some of the non-playable games were shaping up.

3DS is receiving its fair share of massive-selling, action-packed franchises – we've already played Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries and Pro Evolution Soccer – but what about something a little more sedate and thoughtful? Square Enix is lining up just the thing with a new entry in its venerable bubble-popping series, with Bust-a-Move Universe heading to 3DS in Spring.
