Those Embarrassed by Wii Will Flock to Move, Reckons Take-Two CEO

Users "graduating" to HD devices

The Wii has brought a huge number of people into gaming, from undergraduates to granddads, but many see the PlayStation Move as the next logical step: more precise and with greater graphical power behind it, it's more an evolution than a revolution. Take-Two's CEO Ben Feder spoke at a conference recently about how his teenage son is too embarrassed to play Wii games with friends, but that Move will legitimise that kind of gaming for many.

What Sony and Microsoft have really done with Kinect and Move, especially Move, is provide a bridge for guys that are used to playing the Wii system with the wand and bringing them over to a HD system.

n-Space Interested in Bringing Geist Back from the Dead on 3DS

3DS makes Cube translations easy

n-Space is a busy place to be at the moment, with a duo of handheld Bond titles in GoldenEye and Blood Stone under development as well as Call of Duty Black Ops and TRON: Evolution for Wii and DS. That hasn't stopped the developer from contemplating resurrecting its own IPs though, with GameCube spiritual shooter Geist on its "interested" list.

Expect More Sonic Games Like Sonic Colours

Series no longer so serious, says producer

Whether you're an old-school Sonic fan or one who's new to the hog's adventures, Sonic Colours looks set to cut fans' feelings right down the middle with its blend of high-speed platforming, multiplayer action and range of power-ups. The game's producer and head of Sonic Team, Takashi Iizuka, has said in an interview the game is an indication of the future path Sonic games will take.

SPOnG: Is it safe to say then, that future Sonic titles will have the same kind of colourful, simple, laid-back feel that Sonic Colours has?

Move Out Now in Australia, Down Under Tour Underway Soon

Get on your kangaroos! etc.

Despite earlier claims that Move's Australasian release was set for September 16th, Sony's official European blog has dropped the bombshell that the controller is available now across Australia and New Zealand. It won't just be letting the controller sit on store shelves waiting for people to pick it up though, as it's touring the controller across Australia in a fashion not unlike the recently announced US Move tours.
