It seems like ages since the last Art Style game hit WiiWare as the series' focus shifted to DSiWare, but the drought will soon be over as the next entry is due to hit North America in just ten days' time.
Nintendo's Seattle HQ has been doing them proud for years now, but you know they love to tinker with a good thing. Their new headquarters, built next to their old building, is less of a slight upgrade and more of a next-generation revelation, though.
Odd combination creates very cool effect
Remember those first Wii trailers showing people jumping across their living rooms, blasting at the screen, so immersed in the game it's like they were actually in it? Their minds would be blown by this video, as were ours.
Western release currently uncertain
Hudson Soft's Necromancer probably isn't on your list of Top Ten Games for a DSiWare Revival. Released on the TurboGrafx-16 over twenty years ago, it's a decent RPG that received a sequel for mobile devices last year. Guess which version DSiWare is receiving?
Spot the references in this one
Mark Ronson's made a bit of a name for himself remixing and revamping other artists' tracks, so it's no surprise to see the video for his new track Circuit Breaker take inspiration from other sources. Nobody expected it to borrow so heavily from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, though.
Music to your ears
It's tough to know how to approach Rytmik: it has no game elements whatsoever, only existing to allow you to create beautiful (and sometimes not-so beautiful) music. Although its complexity is initially off-putting, spend some time with it and you'll realise it's a very competent and enjoyable music studio.
